Jen’s Story

“As a Mother and caregiver of a special needs daughter for over 20 years, I felt confident that I had mastered the art of caring for her. Sadly, I realized I had done this at the expense of properly caring for myself. It became even more evident when abruptly our family found ourselves in another caregiver role with a family member. I needed support to get through this and having Susan to talk to, as this new season of caregiving was beginning to unfold, was invaluable. She has much wisdom and has a true heart and passion to help others. I am thankful that God placed her in my journey as our family navigates the many dynamics of such a sensitive situation.
