Our Mission, Purpose, Vision, and Core Values
Makers of Care is a faith-based, non-profit supporting family caregivers facing prolonged stress, isolation, and emotional strain while caring for loved ones with chronic illness, disability or aging related needs.
Rooted in Christ, our support groups, programs and services provide a safe place where caregivers are seen, heard, and cared for in a way that fosters connection, provides relief from isolation, and builds resilience.
Purpose
To make the love of Christ visible through the way we care for those who care for others.
Vision
A world where every caregiver is seen, supported, and strengthened through Christ’s love that is given freely and lived out in community.
Core Values
Christ-Centered Compassion
We meet people in their suffering, listen with empathy, and reflect the steady love of Christ.
Faithful Stewardship
We pray big, trust God’s provision, and steward every resource with integrity and gratitude.
Authentic Community
We show up with truth and grace, creating safe spaces to be real and walk alongside each other in the hurt and hardship.
Hope in the Hard
We stay present in the struggle, rooted in Scripture, learning to trust that the Lord will bring purpose from the pain.
Dignity in Every Story
We honor the value of being human and trust that God is redeeming every story for each one uniquely.
We invite caregivers to let it all out—to let Christ in.
